A fresh approach to conventional desk based working has been created for Solihull Council. The office, for use by Children’s service has been designed to offer as ‘bringing the outside in’ in to the furniture design and assist with staff well-being.

A mix of workstations with inbuilt desk top power with device charge outlets and monitor arms, our latest Sit-Stand desks, team work colour coded desk screens and nature inspired mesh task chairs were supplied for the main admin teams. A set of Oak framed meeting pods were created, complete with tree designs on to the acoustic glass offering soundproof meeting rooms which can be relocated if required, offering flexibility for future office development. Break-out booth seating and small meeting spaces were also included for quick group meetings/work area’s and designed with inspiring colours.

Storage included High density revolving cabinets, drawer units for casework filing and personal lockers for additional use to replace desk drawer cabinets and assist with leg room.

A staff break-out area which included a mix of bench style seating, soft booth seating and wipe clean chairs helped complete this inspiring project.
